Feb. 2, 2023

Feb. 2, 2023: Good morning, Bay Islands. I haven’t seen any groundhogs, but I saw a couple of island rabbits yesterday.
This morning we have some clouds and Punta Blanca just picked up .02 of an inch at 9 a.m. This morning around 1 a.m. West Bay got a quarter of an inch of rain.

We’ll have morning clouds and a chance of a light shower before we get sunny skies this afternoon. The main change in our weather will be much calmer winds, around 10-15 mph and seas at 2 feet today and even calmer Friday into the weekend. We’ll also have clouds and scattered showers each morning through Tuesday, and our afternoons will be mostly sunny, but there may be some scattered showers even in the afternoon tomorrow.
Starting Tuesday we will get back to windy conditions with seas 3-4 feet and it will be drier through the middle of next week. We’re looking at more scattered showers for the weekend of Feb. 11. Have a great Thursday!
