Nov. 23, 2022: Good morning Roatan. A shower that brought the east side of the island between a quarter and half an inch of rain at 4:30 a.m. moved to the west side by 5:30, but generally brought less rain, but still enough to wet the ground again after a dry day yesterday.

At 7 a.m. the radar shows showers mostly to the west of Roatan around Utila and indeed Utila is picking up a shower at this hour. After these morning showers go away, skies should be partly cloudy to mostly sunny with northwest winds 5-10 mph switching to the east this evening and seas around 2 feet. There is a good chance of picking up a shower overnight tonight into tomorrow morning, but after that things should clear up and we should have a nice Thursday. The chance of rain is even lower on Friday. Next good chance of rain during the day is Sunday, and after that it looks like the easterly winds will pick up for the beginning of next week. Have a great Wednesday!
