Nov. 24, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! Morning rains yesterday brought .75 of an inch to Utila, while totals from a tenth to half an inch were common on Roatan.

This morning we have showers and thunderstorms around and it looks like we will have a good chance of seeing some rain through the morning. I can’t rule out a shower this afternoon, but they should be less than this morning under partly cloudy skies. Winds will be fairly calm except in squalls and seas at 2 feet (.6 meters).

The big change in our weather is that after a long period of fairly calm winds, our easterly winds will pick up, 10-15 mph tomorrow and 15-20 mph Saturday through Wednesday before calming again Thursday. Seas will be 3-4 feet (1-1.3 meters) for the period Saturday through Wednesday. Tomorrow the rain chance looks very low, and over the weekend the rain chances will be mostly at night. Have a great Thursday!
