Satellite image from 7 a.m. Friday

Nov. 18, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! This morning has definitely started off wet. The west side (West End, West Bay, Sandy Bay) got 1.5 to 2 inches of rain by 7 a.m. Midisland (French Harbor and Coral View) got about half an inch and the east side (Jonesville Point, Politilly, Punta Blanca) got between none and .03, but as you can see on the satellite image, there are showers and thunderstorms on the way.

Today we will have light winds except in squalls, periods of heavy rain and mostly cloudy skies. Seas will be 2-3 feet.

Tomorrow will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny with less rain than today, mostly in the morning hours. Winds will continue light, but seas will remain around 3 feet.

Sunday and Monday the chances of rain go up again. Easterly winds should pick up a little on Monday and Tuesday to 10-15 mph. Have a great Friday and take an umbrella!
