Nov. 17, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! I’m just back from a trip to the States, rushing through airports and rental cars and Airbnbs no doubt contributed to my confusion yesterday. Today is Thursday, not yesterday.

But yesterday we did get quite a storm around midday. Rain totals were mostly between an inch and an inch and a half. We got a gust of 33 mph on Jonesville Point. Some of us got a little right after midnight. Utila missed the big storm yesterday, but has picked up a third of an inch this morning.

On radar and satellite this morning, we see scattered showers around the island. We will continue to have partly cloudy skies and northeast winds 5-10 mph and seas 2-3 feet (.6 to 1 meter). We will have a good chance of seeing a shower today, but we will also get a lot of sun. Tomorrow I think will have higher rain totals than today. The weather pattern looks mostly the same (mild winds, scattered rain showers, partly cloudy skies) for the next week. Have a great Thursday!
