July 10, 2022: Good morning, Roatan. Most of the island got a nice spritz of rain about 4 a.m. The big winner was Punta Blanca with .41 of an inch. Most of the rest of us east side and mid-island got a little over a tenth of an inch, Sandy Bay got a few hundredths and West Bay and West End missed out on the fun.

The rest of today should be partly cloudy to mostly sunny with east winds around 15 mph and seas at 2 feet (.6 meters). Tonight we will have a decent chance of an evening shower and east winds 20 mph and seas at 3 feet (1 meter).

Tomorrow should be a little windier, with daytime winds around 20 mph, especially in the afternoon and seas getting to 3 feet in the afternoon. The chance of rain is smaller, perhaps 20 percent. As we get toward the middle of the week, things should get windier, with nighttime winds getting up toward 30 mph. Rain chances will stay around 30 percent each day. Have a great Sunday!
