May 26, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! Last night was windy but not quite as windy as it has been. We got up to 31 mph on Jonesville Point when a few nights ago it was 39 mph. This morning we have partly cloudy skies with hazy sunshine due to Saharan dust, but those clouds do not seem to be producing rain.

Winds will continue around 20 mph with 3 foot (1 meter) seas during the day and 25 mph with 4 foot (1.3 meter) seas overnight. There will be a small chance of an isolated shower, especially this evening.

Rain chances are a little better tomorrow with winds continuing around 20 mph and seas around 3 feet.

It looks like we have a good chance of seeing some rain this weekend and next week looks to be one of the wettest we’ve had since mid-April. Good news for dusty roads. Have a great Thursday!
