May 28, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! We wake up to a lot of clouds but, at least as of 8 a.m., no rain on the island. At least there hasn’t been any recorded. The radar shows rain northwest of the islands off the coast of Belize.

Today there will be about a 40 percent chance of rain, especially toward evening. Winds will be from the east 10-15 mph and seas 2-3 feet (.6-1 meter). Tonight winds will get up to 15-20 mph and seas 3-4 feet.

Tomorrow should be a bit of a calmer day, with a 50-50 rain chance and seas at 2 feet.

Monday and Tuesday rain chances will be lower, around 20 percent each day. Starting Wednesday and into the weekend winds will get quite a bit calmer, to around 5-10 mph, and rain chances go back up to the 50-50 range each day. Have a great weekend!
