May 15, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! We wake up this morning with significant clouds near the Mosquito Coast of Nicaragua. Some of those showers may move into Nicaragua but should stay away from us, but it may throw some clouds our way.

We will continue with relatively calm conditions with winds around 5 mph during the day and 10 mph in the evening and seas continuing at 1 foot (.3 meters). Tomorrow will be much like today.

Winds will start picking up Wednesday into the 15 mph range and Thursday toward 20 mph, especially in the evening. Friday looks pretty windy.

The GFS weather model still predicts the formation of a storm nearby this weekend, though it has shifted a bit north. All of the other models say this storm will move to our south into the Pacific, so I am still very doubtful about rain this weekend. Have a great week!
