March 8, 2022

March 8, 2022: Good morning, Roatan. Not many clouds the last 24 hours, and there won’t be many in the next 24 hours.

Winds today will continue from the east 12-17 mph and 2-3 foot seas (.6 to 1 meter) during the day and 20-25 mph winds at night and 3-4 foot seas (1 to 1.3 meters).

The weather will be much the same tomorrow. Winds Thursday and Friday may calm a bit, down to 7-12 mph during the day and seas to 2 feet.

The computer models this morning are not as certain about rain this weekend. Most of the models still give us some, but the totals are much lighter than they were yesterday. That’s bad news for my water cistern. We’ll keep an eye on it. Have a good Tuesday!
