March 7, 2022

March 7, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! We start out today with a return of our winds. We are around 15 mph here on the south side with seas around 2 feet (.6 meters). Skies are clear.

We will continue with mostly sunny skies and winds from the east 12-17 mph and gusting to 20 mph overnight. Seas will generally be 2 feet (.6 meters) by day and 3 feet (1 meter) overnight.

We are still watching a potentially strong cold front set to come through Saturday night or Sunday. Some models are giving us strong north winds and potentially heavy rains out of this system, though it is still a ways off. Long-range forecasts also give us a second norther on March 21. We’ll keep an eye on them. Have a great week!
