Good morning Bay Islands. The rain we were expecting came this morning, with most locations getting between 1 and 2 inches of rain. Rain should get a bit lighter as we get into midday, but I can rule out some showers under mostly cloudy skies.
The infrared radar 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. shows decent showers still to our east, so I can’t say we won’t get a little more rain, but there should be less lightning. Another round of showers is expected tonight into tomorrow morning, then midday tomorrow through Thursday should be mostly dry. Friday into the weekend we have better chances of early morning showers.
Winds will remain steady, from the east 15-20 mph and seas around 3 feet.
Rainy days are great days for tapada, and also great days to remember that Carniceria Rosita in French Harbour and Coxen Hole doesn’t just sell beef and pork, but also has a great selection of seafood.
