Dec. 8, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! Many of us got a good bit of rain last night. Coral View, French Harbor and here on Jonesville Point we got nearly an inch. Others received lesser amounts, generally between a quarter and half an inch.

The radar this morning at 6:30 shows scattered showers in the Western Caribbean. Today we will have a mix of clouds and sun with scattered showers and winds continuing from the east 12-17 mph and seas at 4 feet (1.3 meters). Rain chances continue tonight but tomorrow, after a few morning showers, should be drier than today.

Friday through Monday the small rain chances will be mostly at night and early in the morning, and winds will be calmer at 5-10 mph and seas down around 2 feet (.6 meters).

We’re still tracking the possibility of a norther the end of next week. The models are not agreeing on how far south it will come. Have a great Thursday!
