Nov. 21, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! Most of us got around an inch of rain yesterday, though Sandy Bay and West Bay got less (around a quarter inch) and Coral View got much more (about 2 inches).

This morning’s 7 a.m. satellite shown here hows more rain moving toward the island. Today should be mostly cloudy with a good chance of rain and perhaps a thunderstorm throughout the day. Winds will continue fairly calm except in squalls. Seas will be around 2 feet (.6 meters).
Tomorrow through Thursday there will be around a 40 percent chance of showers each morning, but the rest of the day should be mostly sunny and mostly calm, with light winds and seas 1-2 feet .3 to .6 meters).

This is the European modal for Friday through next Tuesday. You will notice that it shows a norther bringing wind and rain to the island on Saturday. The US model does not agree that the cold front will make it this far south. We will keep an eye on it and see which forecast wins out. If the European is right we will have gusty winds and heavy rains this coming weekend.
