July 6, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! Some of us on the east side got a small bit of rain in the early morning hours, no more than a few hundredths of an inch. The west side dried out after the morning rains. Clouds hung around yesterday, which made the afternoon temperatures quite satisfactory.

Today we should see more sun, but also a bit more wind. Winds will be from the east at 15 mph and seas at 3 feet (1 meter). Winds tonight will be 20-25 mph and seas at 4 feet (1.3 meters). There will be only a very small chance of rain.

Winds tomorrow will be from the east/northeast around 15 mph through the day and in into tomorrow night with seas at 2 feet (.6 meters) and a small chance of a shower, especially in the morning.

Friday looks similar, with perhaps a better chance of rain Friday night into Saturday morning. We’re still looking for a wave of moisture in the Monday/Tuesday timeframe next week. Have a great Wednesday.
