March 5, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! We’ve had a gorgeous 24 hours and the wife and I were lured in for a snorkel yesterday. Beautiful creation!
This morning, as of 8 a.m., we have a wave of clouds moving in from the east. At least the northern part of these clouds shows up on radar as some showers, so I have to give us a small chance of rain this morning, perhaps 30 percent chance of a passing shower.
Otherwise we will have east winds at 5-10 mph and seas at 1-2 feet (.3 to .6 meters).
Tomorrow will be sunny with east winds 5-10 in the morning, but getting up to 10-15 in the afternoon, with seas at 2 feet (.6 meters).
Monday will be continued sunny with winds 10-15 mph and seas 2-3 feet during the day and 15-20 mph at night, with seas at 3 feet.
Next week winds will be moderate for around here, mostly 10-15 mph during the day and gusty at night, but the forecast is for mostly clear skies. We are still watching a possible system for March 13,14. Have a great weekend!
