Feb. 14, 2022

Feb. 14, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! The biggest concentration of rain has definitely been to our west. Utila already has 2 inches as of 8 a.m. Most of us on the island are still under an inch, though I have picked up .7 in the hour between 7 and 8 a.m. here on Jonesville Point.

Rain is forecast to continue today, tonight and tomorrow, especially in the morning. There will be some breaks in the rain and the clouds from time to time. Today the winds will be from the northeast at 20 mph and seas at 3 feet (1 meter) especially on the north side. Winds should be a little calmer tomorrow.

Wednesday should be a beautiful day. We dry out and winds should be 5-10 mph. Thursday through Saturday should be dry and windy with east winds 17-22 mph. Rain may return on Sunday.

Have a great week!
