Feb. 13, 2022: Good Super Bowl Sunday morning Roatan! Most of today will actually be nice, but starting tonight through Tuesday morning the weather looks wet.
Today we will have mostly clear skies, but increasing clouds during the evening. Winds will be from the east about 10 mph and seas at 2 feet (.6 meters).
Tonight the rain arrives around nightfall and continues through the night and through your Monday. On Monday winds will be northeast 10-15 mph and seas at 3 feet (1 meter) on the north side.
Rain continues Monday night and into Tuesday morning. The map you see here is the Euro model which gives us 3-4 inches by Tuesday morning. The US GFS model predicts 4-5 inches by noon on Tuesday. Tuesday winds will switch to the west at 15 mph, giving the north side 3-4 foot waves (1-1.3 meters).
Rain should end around midday Tuesday. Winds will be fairly calm Tuesday and Wednesday and Wednesday morning we will have a chance of a morning shower.
Thursday into the weekend looks like a return to Typical Roatan Weather with east winds 15-20 mph, seas 2-3 feet especially on the south side and low to no rain chance. Have a great Sunday!
