Feb. 10, 2022: Good morning Roatan! The island got a good soaking yesterday and last night, especially the west side. West Bay picked up 4.5 inches, West End 3.96, Sandy Bay 4.07, Coral View 1.76, Politilly 1.51, and here in Jonesville Point, only .75, most of it overnight. Utila got 1.16, but almost all of it was yesterday morning.

Today we should see decreasing clouds and only a low chance of a passing shower. Winds will be from the northwest at 3-7 mph and seas at 2 feet (.6 meters).

Tomorrow winds and seas will continue light with only a small chance of a morning shower.

Saturday winds will be from the east 5-10 mph and seas at 2 feet with a slight chance of a morning shower.

Sunday winds turn to the northeast and rain returns.

Monday rain continues and things could get windier, though the computer models aren’t in agreement as to whether the north wind will be that bad.

Have a great Thursday!
