Feb. 8, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! Some locations got a brief downpour yesterday afternoon. As I look out my window the sea looks like glass. Winds should get a little higher this afternoon in the 10-15 mph range from the west, giving the north side 2 foot (.6 meter) waves. There is a very small chance of a popup shower today.

Tomorrow winds will turn to the north at 12-18 mph giving us 3 foot seas (1 meter) especially on the north side. Tomrrow there will be a good chance of rain throughout the day.

Thursday winds should be around 10 mph and seas at 2-3 feet. Rain will continue, mostly in the morning.

Morning rains will follow us into Friday with winds fairly calm.

A second cold front approaches Sunday evening, and that one looks like it will pass through, giving us brisk north winds and waves on the north side. Overall we have an unsettled week ahead. Have a great Tuesday!
