Good morning Bay Islands. We are putting Sandy Bay’s 9.51 inches in the record books for October, which is a little less than West Bay and Utila received and a little more than the east side and Guanaja received, but about average for the islands all around. That is about 60 percent of a normal October rainfall of 16.59 inches. We are starting out through five full days of November, usually our rainiest month of the year, with a little under 2 inches on Sandy Bay, which is also below average. Remember that with El Nino we are forecast to have a drier than normal rainy season and so far that is proving true. It is raining, but just not as much as it normally does.
