Good morning Bay Islands! Our photo this morning is taken by Davinci McNab from Paya Bay Resort looking toward Barbareta with the hazy outline of Guanaja in the background.
We had hopes for some rains this week, but it is starting to look drier.

What clouds there are this morning are high, thin cirrus clouds without any rain in them. The clouds off to our east are not moving much. We look dry this week. We should have a few more clouds toward midweek and I wouldn’t completely rule out a morning shower, but we should be mostly dry.
The long-range forecasts are trying to give us some rain the in the middle of May.
Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We wake up to winds a little gustier than we’ve had, getting up to 20 mph from the east with 3 foot seas. We will calm a bit to 10-15 mph midday before getting back up to 20 mph this evening. Tomorrow will be much like today, but Sunday and Monday midday winds should be calmer at 7-12 mph and seas 2 feet.

If you are one of the folks who brings your dog down from North America, you go to a lot of effort and expense to keep your pet at your side. Keep your companion healthy by giving him the most nutritious food on the island, specially designed with his or her health in mind at Roatan Pets.
