Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Jim Fraser in West Bay and shows the last light of the setting sun. Most places on the islands you can’t see your shadow this morning, but I don’t think island rabbits have the same reaction as groundhogs.
Michelle LeMay and Lainee Wood Hartsel are having an epic showdown for January Photo of the Month. Head over to https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1A1j6DQsgz/ and break the tie.
Today looks to be rainy.

We have extensive cloud cover across our islands, but as of 8 a.m. only around a tenth of an inch has fallen east side of Roatan and Guanaja. As the day goes on there is a good chance we will all see some rain, but rain totals shouldn’t be extreme.
For the week ahead we will continue to see overnight and morning chances of showers with mostly dry afternoons. The best chances to see daytime rain will come Tuesday and then again on Saturday.

Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We are seeing east winds 15-20 mph and seas 3-4 feet this morning. Winds will be fairly consistent all week, with trade winds blowing 15-20 mph and seas around 3 feet.

Don’t forget today is Lobster Day at Ikigai by Robby Molina!

Low tides are 6:20 p.m. and 6:45 a.m. Have a great Sunday!
