April 16, 2023: Good morning, Bay Islands! Our winds last night got up to 35 mph and seas to 6 feet, but this morning seas are around 3-4 feet. Winds will be 10-15 mph today under clear skies and seas around 3 feet. Tonight will not be as windy with winds 20-25 mph and seas at 4 feet. Tomorrow and especially Tuesday will be calmer, though not flat calm.
It’s been plenty hot with no clouds to give us relief. It was around 90 degrees in many places yesterday and today will be the same. Tomorrow we will have a few more clouds with a disturbance passing through. We have hopes that some of us will see a shower or two Monday night into Tuesday, though that isn’t a sure thing. The rest of the week looks dry with winds 15-20 mph and seas around 3 feet. Low tides are 12:13 p.m. and 12:43 a.m. Have a great Sunday!
