Jan. 15, 2023: Good chilly morning, Roatan! We got down to 69 degrees (20C) here on Jonesville Point, as did Politilly. Here on the east side we’ve picked up some light rain this morning as well. On the satellite there are clouds and a few showers to our north. Today we should see mostly cloudy skies with peeks of sunshine, but we will also have a chance of light rain at times. Winds will be light and seas on the north side should be 3-4 feet (1-1.3 meters).
Tonight skies will clear and winds will turn to the east, rising to 15-20 mph by tomorrow morning, seas will be around 3 feet. Tomorrow morning will start off cool, but will warm quickly with mostly sunny skies. We should have mostly clear skies all week and virtually no chance of rain. Winds will be moderate on Tuesday around 10-15 mph and seas 2-3 feet, but starting Wednesday through next weekend, winds especially at night will be gusty to 25 mph and seas will be around 5 feet at night and early morning and 3-4 feet during the day. Have a great Sunday and enjoy our last full day of cool weather.
