Dec. 14, 2022: Good windy Wednesday morning, Roatan! We wake up to 20 mph winds and clear skies.

Today winds should calm a little, especially the further west you go.

I’m including a wind map for midday today and, as you can see, Guanaja will be around 15 mph today while on Roatan winds will be around 10 mph and in Utila winds should be much calmer. Waves should be 2-3 feet for Roatan and 1-2 feet for Utila.

After a windy night and morning tomorrow, winds should calm, especially the further west you go. Thursday and Friday look like beautiful days, with fairly calm winds and seas 1-2 feet for Roatan and Utila. Saturday and Sunday will be a little windier, and scattered showers enter the forecast for Saturday night into Sunday and then again Sunday night through the day Monday. Until then it will be quite dry for December. Have a great Wednesday.
