Nov. 27, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! Most of the island stayed dry yesterday, but on the east side we got a few showers: a third of an inch in Politilly and half an inch in Punta Blanca. Punta Blanca has also picked up .05 of an inch since midnight today.
On satellite this morning we have some thunderstorms in the interior of far eastern Honduras, but those shouldn’t make it this far north. We’ll have partly cloudy skies today with a very low chance of a stray shower. Winds will be from the east 10-15 mph with seas at 2 feet (.6 meters) mostly on the southside, getting up to 15-20 mph and seas at 3 feet (1 meter) this evening.
Tomorrow will be like today, except maybe a bit windier, with daytime winds from the east 12-17 mph and nighttime winds at 20-25 mph. Seas may get up to 4 feet (1.3 meters) especially Monday evening. Rain chances get better Wednesday evening into the end of the week. Have a great Sunday!
