Tropical update for Sept. 14, 2022: The National Hurricane Center has designated a disturbance in the central Atlantic as Tropical Depression #7. You will notice the forecast cone (called the “cone of uncertainty) goes pretty far south on its southern end and if it followed that path it would give us something to watch out for. But none of the computer models I’ve seen brings it this far south. But we’ll keep an eye on it.
