April 11, 2022: Good (wet) morning, Roatan! Looks like the rain we were promised Sunday actually came Monday morning. One location in Sandy Bay has picked up more than an inch, with half an inch at Larry Rapp’s place in West Bay and .81 in West End. Here on Jonesville Point, we’re at a quarter of an inch at 7:30 a.m. and counting.

The rain may continue a little longer into the morning, but should eventually clear out, giving us a partly cloudy afternoon. Winds will pick up from the east to 15-20 mph, rising to 25 mph after nightfall. Seas will be 3-4 feet (1 to 1.3 meters). After today, the weather turns much more boring, with TRW (Typical Roatan Weather) of strong east winds, clear skies and warm temps near 90 during the day. Have a great week!
