April 10, 2022: Good morning, Roatan. Most of us missed out on the rain lottery yesterday, with most locations getting just a few hundredths of an inch on Roatan. Most of the rain missed us to the west, with Utila getting .74 of an inch, while some location near San Pedro Sula got 3-4 inches. Our big winners were Punta Blanca with a third of an inch and Politilly and Coral View with a quarter of an inch. We will have a small chance of rain between midnight tonight and sunrise tomorrow, and that is the last chance of rain we will have for the week.
Today winds will be from the east/northeast at 15-18 mph and seas at 3 feet (1 meter). Temps should be a little lower than normal for April in the mid 80s (around 30C).
After the chance of rain early tomorrow morning, we should return to TRW (Typical Roatan Weather), with winds around 20 mph during the day and gusting to 30 mph at night, clear skies and hot temperatures getting close to 90 (32C).
This is a week to think about the greatest gift ever given to mankind — the ransom. Matthew 20:28. Have a great week!
