Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Brad Ryon and shows sunset in Utila.
We’ve had a few morning showers around this morning good for a couple tenth of an inch or so most places. Those showers should decrease as the morning goes along and our afternoon should be mostly dry. Tomorrow and Thursday we won’t be able to say that, as rain and clouds will stick around all day.

On satellite at 7 a.m. we can see scattered clouds, especially toward Utila, but no rain has been recorded on Utila as of 7 a.m. We also see a mass of clouds to our east that will be moving our way and give us scattered showers through the day and night tomorrow and Thursday. Rain will occasionally be heavy and last longer than we are used to this time of year. After Thursday rain showers will stick around, but will mostly be in the mornings through the weekend.
Wind and Wave forecast: We wake up to northeast winds 10 mph and seas 2 feet. They will stay right around there today. Tomorrow and Thursday the will be from the north/northeast at 15 mph and seas around 3 feet.
