Good morning Bay Islands. Friend of Roatan Weather Mike Strine captured a cumulus rain cloud that brought Camp Bay Beach a third of an inch of rain yesterday. It looks like early morning showers brought a little more rain to the east side this morning around 3 a.m. We have a few clouds around, but again we will be mostly sunny today and the wind will get calmer starting tomorrow.
Here is our 7 a.m. satellite showing clouds mostly toward Guanaja, moving to the northwest. We should be mostly sunny and warm today. Our forecast is mostly dry through Monday with only a spotty morning shower here or there. Our winds today are out of the east 15 mph and seas 3 feet. We will have one more night of gusty trade winds to 20 mph and seas 4 feet. Starting tomorrow winds calm to 5-10 mph and seas 2 feet, getting down to 1 foot by Saturday.
Starting Tuesday we are looking at a mild norther. Winds shouldn’t be very strong, but there could be a good bit of rain for the period Tuesday through Thursday next week. We’ll keep an eye on it.

With lower winds the next few days it will be perfect grilling weather and the right time to head down to Carniceria Rosita for premium meats in Coxen Hole or French Harbour.

Lowest tide is 11 p.m. Have a great Wednesday!
