Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Deanna Jones who captured a double rainbow yesterday at Parrot Tree. We had a quick shower yesterday evening around 5 a.m. and another round in some areas after midnight, that brought a few hundredths to a few locations on the big island, but almost an inch at the Garcia home on Guanaja. The trend is toward drier windier weather.

At 7 a.m. we have some high clouds that don’t carry rain. These clouds are actually moving from west to east, the opposite of our normal flow due to winds higher in the atmosphere. These clouds should lessen as the day goes on and we’ll see more sun this afternoon. We’ll keep small chances of overnight showers in the forecast, but most of us should be dry. Winds will be strong the next few days, with daytime winds from the east 15-20 mph and seas 3 feet and 20-25 mph and 4 feet overnights. Have a great Friday!
