Good morning Bay Islands. Randy Neeman called this photo “The Calm Before The Storm.” That is right. At 5:30, Sandy Bay picked up a tenth of an inch in a morning shower, but rain and especially wind is on the way.

At 8:45 a.m. we can see the clouds just to our north that will bring the wind and rain. Both should increase as the day goes on with the peak of wind being overnight tonight, with 20-30 mph north winds and seas up to 8-9 feet, especially Northside. Rain will be off and on and this shouldn’t be a flood. Tomorrow rain will be less and winds will decrease to about 15 mph by afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday we will have 15 mph east winds and dry conditions. Friday and Saturday look calmer and drier. Have a great week!
