Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Betsy Vannatta in West End. After a couple of days of very strong east winds, those are subsiding this morning. Winds will stay 15 mph and turn northeasterly this afternoon with seas 2-3 feet and we will stay dry today.

Tomorrow morning will start out quite calm, with north winds around 10 mph and seas 2 feet, but the will get strong quickly starting around noon through the evening, with north winds 25 mph gusting to 30 mph and seas 9 feet. Scattered showers should bring about an inch of rain, perhaps a bit more to Utila.

Wednesday winds will calm to around 15 mph by afternoon and seas will start the day around 7-8 feet and calm to 5 feet by afternoon with only a small chance of a shower.

Starting Thursday we are back to east winds around 15 mph and seas 3-4 feet east side with dry conditions into the weekend. Have a great Sunday!
