Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Andre Palmer, who captured a fairly tranquil sea looking back toward Helene. The sea will not be that calm with the possible exception of Monday morning. Today we will have daytime winds 20 mph from the east and 4 foot seas. Overnight we will have 30 mph east winds and 5-6 foot seas. Tomorrow winds will get calmer through the day, mostly around 15 mph from the northeast and seas 3 feet. Monday morning starts out with 5 mph north breezes and 1 foot seas, but by evening we should be up to 30 mph north winds. Monday night we will have heavy seas, especially north, at about 9 feet. While the weekend will be dry, we will have scattered showers, some perhaps heavy, on Monday. Tuesday things try to calm down, with midday northeast winds 15 mph and seas around 5-6 feet. Wednesday we go back to east winds around 15 mph and dry conditions the rest of next week. Have a great weekend!
