Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day show calm reflections from Turtle Beach between West Bay and West End. WB and WE are back to their typical calm selves because our 3 foot waves are back on the south side due to our normal trade winds returning. Those trade winds will be getting stronger.

Many locations got less than a tenth of an inch in a quick early morning shower. Most of us are dry at 8:15 a.m. There are some clouds in the Guanaja area, but these are moving northwest with the southeast winds and should miss the big island. We will keep a very small chance of a shower for the morning, but most of us should stay dry. The main story is the wind. Today we will have 15 mph east winds and 3 foot seas getting up to 15-20 tonight with 3-4 foot seas. Tomorrow night and Friday night look like the windiest periods, with easterly/southeasterly gusts up to 30 mph and seas up to 6 feet. Things get a little calmer Sunday and Monday, with perhaps a better chance of rain on Monday.
