Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Jordan Byrne, who took this sunrise photo of the Carnival Jubilee arriving this morning from his home in West End.
Jordan noted the incredibly calm seas and indeed, our seas are right around 1 foot with very light winds. Tomorrow things start getting windier.

Our satellite image at 8:15 a.m. shows some popcorn clouds, that brought about a tenth of an inch of rain to Guanaja around 7:50 a.m. They are moving to the west, so we may see a shower here or there before 10 a.m. After that we should be dry. Dry conditions will dominate the week ahead, with only very small chances of morning showers.
The main story over the next few days will be the wind, with east winds tomorrow 15 mph and 2 foot seas and starting Thursday into the weekend daytimes east winds 17-22 mph and 3-4 foot seas and nighttime 25-30 mph winds and 5-6 foot seas.
