Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Amanda Engle, who took this photo of the morning mist at sunrise over Punta Blanca. We rarely get cool enough for ground level mist, but we did during our recent cool spell, which is mostly over, with morning low right around 70 degrees now.
The forecast is quite dry. Today we have west winds around 10 mph and seas 2 feet. This evening those winds will shift to the north and by tomorrow we will have light and variable winds and seas 1 foot, making it the calmest day of the week ahead. The reason for that is by Wednesday the easterly trade winds start, with 10-15 mph and 3 foot seas Wednesday, and 20 mph daytime and up to 30 mph nighttime winds with 5 foot seas southside Thursday into the weekend. Have a great Monday!
