Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Paul Szafranski in Diamond Rock. She said the warm colors were a bit warmer than the temperatures that day but it was definitely warmer than her old home in Queens, NY.

This morning we didn’t quite make it back into the 60s for lows, but we are enjoying low humidity, something very rare for our islands and something that makes the 70s feel very nice. More good weather is on the way.

On satellite at 8:30 a.m. we see mostly sunny skies over the islands with a few clouds to our north. We should be mostly sunny today, but we will leave a chance of rain in the forecast for the afternoon, but any showers should be short-lived. Today winds will be from the north 15 mph and seas 3-4 feet Northside. Tomorrow will be partly cloudy with north winds 5-10 mph and seas 2-3 feet. Monday we will have morning shower chances and winds start to turn to the east, but fairly light Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday into the end of the week east winds will be around 15 mph and seas 3-4 feet Southside. All in all we’re in for a good week if they can get all that sargassum that was blown in off West Bay Beach.

Tomorrow is the big game. If you are having a Super Bowl Party, make sure you get down to Carniceria Rosita in French Harbour or Coxen Hole for the best grilling meats on the big island.

Tides are looking pretty mild. Have a great weekend!
