Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Tammy Wilson in West End.
We are dealing with a few scattered showers around the island in advance of our next cold front, the worst of which will come tomorrow, with a burst of northerly winds, wavy seas and probably a chilly rain, but the good news is this is the last one for awhile, perhaps the last one of the season.

We can see the wind field for the next norther right now reaching Yucatan. Today we will have a shower here or there, mostly cloudy skies and north winds 15-20 mph and seas 4-5 feet north side. Tomorrow we will have north winds 20-25 mph, seas around 6 feet north side and persistent rain. We will be cool Friday and Saturday with some 60s, though I don’t know we will have enough rain to keep us in the 60s all day like we were on Monday.
After that we will start seeing the winds turn back to the east on Monday and the north and west sides of the island will calm while the east and south gets the waves, more normal for Roatan.
