Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Bob Agnew who captured a rainbow from West End. We have lots of clouds and rain around. Yesterday 2 inches was a fairly common rain amount across our islands and many locations, especially west side, have gotten an inch this morning. We have rain chances the rest of today into tonight, but things are looking better for tomorrow and Thursday.

At 9 a.m. we have lots of clouds and showers on satellite, but also some blue sky to our north. Maybe some of these clouds will push south and give us some sunshine later today’s but we will still have scattered showers to deal with. Tomorrow should be mostly dry after possibly a morning shower. Thursday looks mostly dry as well. Forty percent daily rain chances, mostly in the mornings, return Friday into the weekend.
Wind and Wave forecast: We start the day with 10 mph northeast winds and seas 3-4 feet. Those winds and seas will stay with us the rest of the day, but tomorrow winds look much calmer, though we will still have seas around 2 feet. Starting Thursday into the weekend we get the return of easterly trade winds 15 mph and seas 2-3 feet.
