Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day is from Larry Cox and shows sunset at West Bay.
This morning West Bay and many locations on the western half of the island picked up around a tenth of an inch this morning as of 8 a.m. Utila has picked up a quarter of an inch. There is a good chance of a little more today, especially this evening.

On satellite at 8 a.m. we can see the smooth cirrus clouds behind a cold front that now extends from Yucatan to Miami. This cold front will not make it down here but will give us some waves on the north side tomorrow. Today through the weekend will be quite calm with wind, and seas will be 1-2 feet today and Sunday, but Saturday we will see waves 3 feet to maybe 4 feet from the north due to the swell from this cold front.

Today we will see a bit better of a rain chance, especially this evening, overnight and tomorrow morning. After that rain chances go down and will mostly be overnights and early mornings Sunday into next week.

Lowest tide will be 10 p.m. Have a great Friday!
