Our photo of the day comes from Brad Ryon at Chepes Beach, Utila, with some dark clouds in the background. Most of us have gotten rain over the last 24 hour (ending 7:30 a.m.) EXCEPT West Bay and West End. We will definitely all get some rain this week.
Here is the satellite from 6:30 to 7:30 am. We can see clouds and rain moving eastward from Belize, but the worst of it is still far to the west of Utila. This particular storm should die out in the coming hours. Most days I would tell you that most of the rain will be in the mornings, but this weekend, and the week ahead, we will have scattered showers through the middays and afternoons as well. It won’t be a total rainout, but we will have periods of heavy rain this weekend into next week. Heaviest rain will probably be Tuesday into Wednesday.
Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: If you like calm waters, you’re going to like this weekend. If you don’t mind getting wet occasionally (ha, ha) head out and do your fishing, snorkeling and diving without worrying about waves, with east winds 3-7 mph and seas 0-1 foot.

Folks in Santos Guardiola can get a great deal on a smooth ferry ride this weekend with Roatan Ferry Galaxy Wave.

Lowest tide is 8:05 a.m. Have a great weekend!
