Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Daniel Rice and shows clouds over French Cay. The five most-liked photos of June get an excursion from Jolly Roger Roatan valued at $100 complete with meal and drinks. Message photos at bookmybio@gmail.com with name and location.

We’ll start with yesterday’s rainfall. Most of us got some rain, but Utila missed out.
You will notice this morning’s clouds, but they are moving from west to east, indicating the clouds are higher up in the atmosphere, which may be why they aren’t giving us any rain. We will keep a chance of scattered showers in the forecast. This is actually a very difficult period to forecast, with low pressure in the area, pretty much any time we may get a shower, but showers will be of short duration and occasionally have some thunder with them.
Wind and Galaxy wave forecast: We wake up to winds from the east 23 mph and seas 4-5 feet. They should calm a bit midday to 20 mph and 3-4 feet but tonight they will strengthen again to 25-30 mph and 5 feet. We are in a cycle of fairly strong trade winds right now. That should last through this week, with maybe some weakening by weekend.
