Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Paula Szafranski, who caught this little guy looking for food at sunset.

I like to call the area near Puerto Lempira on the Mosquito Coast the storm factory, because it is the source of a lot of our midmorning showers, especially this time of year, but as they move west, they tend to weaken. We should see increasing clouds through the morning and possibly a shower, especially further east. Midday to afternoon should be drier. Tomorrow should be dry most of the day, but especially as we get toward evening the chance of rain increases and that increased chance goes through the day Monday into Tuesday morning. The rest of next week should have lower chances of rain.

Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We start the day with 20 mph east winds and seas 4 feet. Our easterly trade winds will continue strong through the weekend into next week, 15-20 mph and 3 feet daytime and 20-25 mph and 4 feet nighttimes.

High and low tides look pretty mild. Have a great weekend!
