Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Peggy Kern and shows a sand sculpture decorating a vow renewal on the beach in West Bay. I often tell potential brides that March through May is the best time to have a beach wedding as it is generally dry, though as our rain earlier this week proves, there are no guarantees.
Our forecast is generally dry, but we will look to our south in comments for possible moisture as we get into late May.

On satellite things are clear over the islands this morning. There are a few scattered clouds bringing a shower or two around Belize City, but nothing in our neighborhood.
We will continue to be dry through the weekend into next week.
Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We will continue to have typical trade winds from the east 20-25 mph nights and early mornings with 4 foot seas, 15-20 mph middays and afternoons with 3 foot seas.

This is the Canadian model for precipitation for the next 10 days. While we generally remain dry, you will note there is moisture to our south. Toward the end of the period, there is also a very weak cold front moving from the States. Toward the end of the month it looks like perhaps some of these showers move in and give us better rain chances.

Today through Sunday you can purchase round trip Roatan Ferry Galaxy Wave tickets at the Petrosuns in West End and Pensacola for 1000 lempiras.

Our tides are really flattening out, with not much difference high tide to low tide. Have a great Friday!
