Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Nancy Sikora and is a bird she is pretty sure is a vireo, but if you are an ornithologist (bird expert) you can let us know exactly what he is in comments.
Sandy Bay got a small shower this morning, and we will be having morning rain chances the next few days.

The whitest dots you see on the 7:20 a.m. satellite are potential showers that are moving to the west. We will keep a small chance of a shower through mid-morning. Midday and afternoon should be dry. We will keep this cycle of perhaps a few morning showers and dry, hot middays and afternoons through perhaps Wednesday. The end of the week looks drier, so probably the morning rain chances go away.

Here are this morning’s rain totals. The showers happened around 6 a.m. for Sandy Bay and the rest of us were dry.

Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We wake up to east winds 8 mph and seas around 1 foot. We should stay around there today and tomorrow. This evening and tomorrow evening winds will pick up to around 12 mph and seas to 2 feet. All in all, still good days on the sea. Tuesday winds start to creep up to 10-15 mph and seas 2-3 feet and Wednesday through the end of the week 15 mph and seas 3 feet.
