Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from David Trawick, who took this photo of his granddaughter, TiKay, in Sandy Bay, as she cautiously contemplated an island bull.
Lots of families will be gathering for this weekend and the weather will be better than it has been, if a bit windier.

At 7:45 we see a line of clouds have moved south of West Bay and are moving toward Utila. It is possible there is a shower or two in there and we can’t rule out a shower here or there this morning, but most of us should stay dry. West Bay, Utila and Guanaja received a small shower this morning already,.
Friday and Saturday should be dry with a small chance of a morning shower.
Sunday into next week should be dry and there are no rain systems in the extended forecast.

Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We wake up to 10 mph east winds and seas 3 feet southside. We should stay right around there through Saturday morning. Saturday evening, Sunday and into Monday we will have stronger east winds, 20-25 mph during the day and 25-30 mph at night with seas 4-5 feet during the day and 5-6 feet at night. Starting Tuesday and into next week winds calm a bit to 15 mph from the east and seas at 3 feet.

The folks in this photo are seeing the best side of Roatan, the side that is under the sea and in the reef. And there isn’t a better tour group to get you there and back safely than Jolly Roger!

High tides look pretty low. Have a great Thursday!
