Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Judy Bridgman taken from Sundowner’s in West End and, indeed, the sun is going down. I love how it looks like the sun has an eyelid.
Just a reminder that this morning North American went on Daylight Saving Time, meaning that the East Coast is now two hours ahead of us and the West Coast is an hour behind us. We will be the same as US Mountain Time through November 1.

Our skies are quite clear this morning, and today will be dry, but you can see a cold front extending from northern Florida into the Gulf. That will be headed our way. It will definitely bring us some clouds Monday and Tuesday and perhaps some rain. It is still uncertain we get much or any rain. Chances are better further west, such as in Utila. If we do get rain it should be less than half an inch and best chances are Monday morning and especially Tuesday morning. After that, the rest of next week turns dry again.

Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We start the day with east winds 15 mph and seas 3 feet southside. We should calm a bit during the day to 10 mph and 2-3 foot seas. Tomorrow winds turn to the west/northwest 7-12 mph and seas 2 feet northside.

The wind forecast is a bit tricky as you can see from the wind forecast map for midday tomorrow, with a small low pressure system near us, turning winds east just to our north, but from the west for most of us.
Winds should turn to the northwest Tuesday, but still fairly calm at 10 mph and seas still 2 feet northside.
Starting Wednesday our winds turn back to the east, starting fairly calm on Wednesday, but getting a bit stronger every day until we’re up to 25 mph Friday and Saturday evenings.

Ikigai by Robby Molina has just released its new menu and its Asian fusion inspiration is showing. It is one of the only places to get real Asian taste on the island. Stop by and be ready to be greeted by the best chef in Central America!

Low tides are 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. Have a great Sunday!
